Committee on Scientific Instrumentation
The Commission on IT Infrastructure was a subcommittee of the Joint Committee of the 快三砍龙 and, in this function, evaluated the results of reviews of proposals for major instrumentation that contained IT systems from the general research funding programmes of the 快三砍龙 as well as from the 鈥淢ajor Research Instrumentation" and the 鈥淪tate Major Instrumentation" programmes with respect to technical, methodical and fundamental criteria.
For the major instrumentation funded by the 快三砍龙 and for the proposals in the 鈥淢ajor Research Instrumentation鈥� programme, the commission made suggestions for the final decisions by the 快三砍龙鈥檚 Joint Committee. For proposals in the 鈥淪tate Major Instrumentation鈥� programme, it formulated final recommendations on instrumentation purchases on behalf of the states and universities. As part of the 鈥淢ajor Instrumentation in Research Buildings鈥� programme underwritten by the federal government and the states, the commission made recommendations to the German Council of Science and Humanities regarding the procurement of equipment. The commission addressed fundamental questions of IT equipment for universities and hospitals and made recommendations on overall IT concepts, IT installations and networking concepts.
